If your lips are dry or chapped, use a lip balm regularly. Even if your lips are not chapped, consider using a lip moisturizer that contains an SPF to protect your lips from the sun’s damaging rays. Hold this position for at least 10 seconds. Press your lips together into a straight line. Create a resistance to this movement by imagining that there’s something trying to prevent you from pressing your lips together. Work on holding your lips together against this resistance for 5 seconds.

Close your mouth and lightly pucker your lips. Gently move your lips from left to right as you inflate each cheek with air. It should look kind of like you’re using mouthwash. Try to move your lips in the shape of a figure 8, in both directions. Press your lips together and lift them up toward your nose. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Exhale gradually, taking 2 to 3 blows to get all of your air out. Pretend to blow out a candle.
